Movie Review of "The Princess bride"

   Hello? Everyone. I'm going to introduce the movie called "The Princess Bride". This movie was made by Rob Reiner in 1987. This movie was filmed in Ireland and the United Kingdom. I saw this movie with my friends and thought that it was very interesting. Now, I'm going to start my movie review.
     
   First, the Genre of this movie is fairytale, romantic, comedy, adventure, and there are many other Genres in the movie we can find. 
   
   Second, the characters are the boy who was sick in the first part of the movie, Buttercup, the princess of the story, Westley, a man who loved Buttercup. Prince Humperdinck, Fezzik, Inigo, Vizzini, and Miracle Max. They are the characters of this movie.
    
   Third, the setting of this movie is the cliffs of insanity, fire of swamp, the shrieking eels, lightening sand, forest of the thieves, and the pit of despair. 
    
   Fourth, the plot of this story is like this. Buttercup and Westley fall in love to each other, so Westley leaves his house to seek their fortune because they didn't have much money to   marry. But Buttercup heard that Westley' ship got attacked by pirates and he died. Buttercup got very upset. Five years past and Buttercup was about to get married to Prince Humperdinck. One day, Buttercup was riding a horse and was attack by Fezzik, Inigo, and Vizzini. But Westley was alive and saved Buttercup from them. On their way, Westley and Buttercup encountered many dangerous place like the cliffs of insanity, fire swamp, and the lightening sand. Prince Humperdinck was waiting for them. So Buttercup asked the Prince to let Westley go. But Buttercup couldn't bear that she can't see him anymore. So she told Prince Humperdinck that she loved Westley. Prince Humperdinck let her send the letter but he already killed Westley with the machine. Westley came back alive because of the help of Miracle Max. Inigo, Fezzik, and Westley sneak into find Buttercup. Inigo killed Count Rugen, who killed his father. And they all went back to their own living home. Lastly, Westley and Buttercup lived happily ever after. 
     
    In my opinion, I think that this movie is about "true love" and true love lasts forever. Also I learned that helping each other to accomplish something is really important. There were also leadership in this movie. I think Westley was the leader of this story.

The fourth day at GLPS

Today, I went to Mr. Tierney's class which is the Mock Trial class. In this class, we studay about laws. For example, there are 2 defence characters. Mrs. Amanda Johnson and Debbie Choi. Amanda Johnson is the accused and the baby sitter, Debbie choi, would be the witness 2. The crown characters are Bruce Smith, the video clerk, and the police officer, Mr. Jeremy. There are fact sheets for every person in this case. It was a little hard but I found it very interesting. In this week, Friday, we will have the Mock Trial about this case and I'm Mrs. Amanda Johnson, the accused. I think it will be very interesting to do the Mock Trial. Then I went to Mr. C.Cox's class and studied history. We found many Ancient Greek characters. I researched the Heracles. It was a little boring but I was glad to find out same interesting facts about Heracles.

My third day at GLPS

My first class was Mr. Tierney's class and we studied Mock Trial. Mock Trial was about law and it was a little difficult. I learned Mrs. Johnson case. It was about how she stole the DVD from the DVD store and Mr. Smith caught her and called the police. But Mrs. Johnson says that she didn't mean to steal the DVD and she had an urgent call from her house. So that made her ran to her house. So Mrs. Johnson was the accused and Mr. Smith was the witness. I found the story very interesting.

The second day at GLPS camp

Yesterday was the first day at GLPS camp. And today is the second day but also the first start. I felt very nervous about being here but now I feel very satified to come here. Today I had an interview. The interview was about this : I went to the GLPS camp and met a friend who really likes me but I really don't like her. One day, she tries to get my phone number and I don't want to give my phone number. In this situation I think I should just tell them the truth about how my real feelings are and how much I am offended by them. The teacher asked me some other things and I was done. I got my classroom number 18. I don't know if class 18 is low or high but I am satisfied with my interview.

30days challenge in GLPS camp

      Have you ever heard of a 30 day challenge? It's like setting goals for what you should do for 30 days. Setting goals are the things we can achieve or accomplish. If we set goals, for example, like in Matt Cutt's 30 day challenges, he did interesting things like climbing Mount. Kilomanjaro or losing sugar.

    

     First, while I'm in the GLPS, I am going to solve all the math quizzes in the book in 30 days. Step 1, I need to solve 10 pages of my math book a day. And the second step is to rewrite the math questions I got wrong. After I'm achieving this, maybe my ability of solving math questions will improve. 

      Second, I need to lose weight! Actually, I have already lost weight here but I want to lose more. The 1st step is to walk along the GLPS camp many times because it has may hills to walk and I can exercise. The 2nd step is to play basketball with my friends 3 days a week. Basketball is good for health because it help us grow taller.

  

      Third, I need to read English books for the school Golden Bell. The Golden Bell gives us a prize for the person wins the Golden Bell. I really want to fet the prize. The 1st step is to read English books during the club activities in GLPS, because I'm in the club of reading English books. The 2nd step is to find difficult words I don't know about when I'm reading an English book.

    If we set our goals we can have self confidence. First, I will solve all of my math quiz and second, I will lose my weight and third, I needed to read English book for the Golden Bell. I hope I can achieve these things.

Introduce about myself...

Hello? My name is Miju Park and I am going to introduce about myself. There are three things that represent me. 7, badminton, and One Direction are the things that represent me.

First one is 7. 7 represents that I have 7 goldfish in my home. They are my pets. 3 of my goldfish are orange colored and the other 4 of my goldfish are yellow colored. I have raise them about 4years. And I love them so much.

The second one is badminton. The word badminton means that I love to play badminton but I can't play it well. My friends like to play badminton and one of my friends had won the 3rd prize in the badminton competition.

The third one is One Direction. I am the fan of One Direction. I think they are handsome and they are just my type! One day, I really want to meet them.
